Terms & conditions

General Terms:

  • Consultations and quotations are free and are carried out by email or telephone.

  • By using Virtually Connected ‘s services, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and our privacy policy.

  • Work can be accepted from a client by email, phone, post, USB drive or courier.

  • All work carried out by Virtually Connected will be proof-read and checked, however final proof-reading of the work lies with the client.

  • For larger projects a time frame will be negotiated with the client.

  • Whilst Virtually Connected endeavours to provide the highest level of service, we do not accept any liability or financial/business responsibility for any work produced, or for the end use of any documents or materials produced or edited by Virtually Connected on behalf of the client. We aim to provide professional business support, but do not accept responsibility for the success or failure of clients’ businesses.

  • Virtually Connected reserves the right to reject any work, including work which it believes to be unlawful or immoral.

  • Any calls with clients once work has been accepted will be considered as chargeable time.

Payment Terms:

  • Payments can be made by PayPal, direct debit or bank transfer.

  • Packages must be paid for in advance. Thereafter, a package will be valid from initial payment and subscription to the same date on the following calendar month. Further payments will be collected monthly via PayPal or direct debit (or sent by the client by bank transfer).

  • Ad hoc payments will be invoiced on completion of the work and payment is due 14 days from the date of invoice.

  • Any additional costs incurred for example, postage, outbound calls, courier, will be invoiced separately to the client as ‘Additional Expenses’. The client will be advised of potential additional costs prior to these being incurred.

  • If the client requires Virtually Connected to make trips out of the office (for example to the post office), we will charge for our time for the duration of the journey.

  • Overdue invoices may result in interest charges for the total outstanding per month.

  • In the event of a contract or our service being cancelled/terminated, the client agrees to pay for all work completed up to that point.

Privacy Policy:

We guarantee the highest level of confidentiality at all times. We do not pass or sell client information on to 3rd parties unless requested to do so by the client and as long as the request meets current legislation. If required we are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement.
